  12. I may have missed the discussion but this vote seems pretty meaningless
  13. to me.  What happened to all the alternative proposals,  such as
  14. swapping  Shift/Unshift for Control A?  Is this just to shake Timothy
  15. Miller off?  I believe we already have.  Everyone who's still on the
  16. list doesn't really *object* to Control A,  but some of us find
  17. Shift Control A an attractive choice.  I am such a person.  What am I
  18. supposed to vote for?  Conservative (i.e. a YES on the first proposal)
  19. would mean no effort in changing my software, Progressive (i.e. a NO on
  20. both because swapping shift seems to be a wise decision) seems a bit
  21. strong as I am not really AGAINST the current use of Control A to mean
  22. select all.
